COMMTIA was awarded as main contractor for the supply of DVB-T equipment for the Digital Switchover (DSO) project in Spain. The contract included the supply of DVB-T Transmitters and High Gain On-channel Repeaters for the DSO project in Spain. More than 8.000 DVB-T equipment units supplied from 2008 to 2010. Additionally, in 2009 COMMTIA was awarded with a contract for the Turn-key supply of the DVB-T network in Spain, including supply of broadcasting, transport network and ancillary equipment, as well as rack integration (more than 1.000 indoor cabinets and 100 outdoor cabinets supplied to date), site-survey, installation, commissioning and on-site acceptance. Above 1.000 DVB-T sites have been supplied in turn-key basis in 18 months.
